One day, a California boy named David Lewis made a stop by Erie PA's bayfront for a show at the amphitheater -  and that's where he met Jessica! They were married in April 2003 in Laguna Beach, California seven months later.  They spent 2003-2009 as production & road managers for a Canadian band based out of Nashville, TN. They fell in love with travel and have been able to see most of the United States, Canada, and many parts of Europe.

With over 19 years of live sound & production experience, Dave knows his way around sound, lights, stage design, setup, tear down and everything in between. Since 1999, Dave has toured with artists and bands that include: DownhereAaron ShustMatthew WestCasting CrownsRebecca St. James,Jennifer KnappBig Tent RevivalSatellite Soul,StarfieldHigh ValleyShawn McDonaldJason IngramJason GrayLaura StoryBarlow Girl,Gungor, and many more.

Cali was born in 2007; she made a great travel baby!  But when Owen was born in 2009, they decided it was time to settle down and save some travels for a not-so-distant future. Dave & Jess moved to northwest PA in early 2010, and welcomed their third child, Truett in April 2013 (they are still trying to recover from having three kids).

Dave began working for McLane Church in Edinboro in 2009, while Jessica began shooting weddings and portraits. She needed her own personalized packaging to deliver images to her clients, but because she couldn't find what she was looking for, she created it for herself.

In 2010, Kraft & Jute began on Etsy and within months grew into it's own busy website. Her cousin Melisa joined her and they grew the business to almost a million dollars in sales before Jessica sold her half to her cousin to pursue other things.

By 2015, Jessica began doing voiceovers for commercials, explainer videos and phone messages. Dave & Jess also produce a podcast for entrepreneurs: the Square One Show, you can listen in iTunes.
