Explainer videos need an engaging voice over. Thayer Partners Investment Planning contacted me to re-do their voice over. They said about their old voice over that it was "too computerized...didn't like the tone, and lacks empathy." So I took their script, recorded my voice over and matched it to their already-finished video. They now have a bit more of an engaging voice to explain how their new Riskalyze app works - and love the results. ❤︎
Pexels sends notifications (in beta, only currently available to their Pexels Heros) when a stock image is used by a major blog, news outlet or company. How fun! So here's the latest feature in the IBTimes:
Andy was recently in the Knockout Homelessness to benefit the Erie City Mission - in Erie, PA. Since he was a contender, he was able to provide a full page ad for the back of the brochure. After the fight (which he did a fantastic job!), he texted me this photo and said he loved how it turned out. I love it when clients show me the final piece!
I've been a part of PEXELS for a few years now; it's a great way to share some of my work and give back to this amazing community. The photographs on their site have this very human and emotional element that I was very drawn to when using images for my client's websites.
First impressions are important, especially if you're reaching out to potential clients or employers via LinkedIn. You can do it yourself, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to hire someone to pull it together for you. A designer can help match your branding and lay things out in a balanced and beautiful way.

Dave and I have been enjoying Williamsburg, Virginia, where we moved to help our friends Glenn & Sherri grow their business Silver Hand Meadery.
Here are a few images that we created to introduce the new mead "Ginger Me Slowly" - as well as some product images to get ready for Christmas social media posts!
Beautiful inside and out - they are so kind and giving. I first met them when they asked me to shoot their engagement and wedding photos at the Conneaut Lake Hotel, Conneaut Lake, PA. I'm so thankful for all of the people I've met though photography; what an honor to capture beautiful moments and document their life.
