For those of us going through a winter storm in the middle of January in northwest Pennsylvania, let’s warm up with a few beach photos from the Pacific Coast. These were taken in August when we were visiting family.
Aqua. Oh my favoritist color in the whole word. It's calming. It's fresh. And it catches my eye every. single. time. I found these at Ikea along with the black & white table runner and according to me, it's a match made in heaven. However, I got the wrong size table runner, and it stops short on each end of the table... making it look like an extra long placemat. Doh!
We’re in Sebring, Florida visiting my parents for Christmas - no snow pictures here!
Snow Covered pine cones. I took these photos from the front deck; it overlooks Venango Valley and gave some great color and blurriness - to help focus on the pine cones.

Beautiful Edinboro Lake in the fall!
For an hour this morning, the light changed and moved… My five year old son Truett wanted to capture a few photos as well; he looked outside and said, “Mom! Get a picture of that!” And I told him to capture it himself (ha - parenting at it’s best!).
November is such a beautiful month in northwest Pennsylvania. You’re not sure whether or not it’s going to be snow-covered or the last of the peak colorful leaves season… I love the softness of these images; the lighting is gorgeous.
View from standing in our driveway overlooking the Venango Valley. The sun was hitting the leaves just perfectly, making them glow.
One of my favorite times to shoot is just after the rain…
